Frankie Goes to Hollywood
Frankie Goes to Hollywood emerged from Liverpool and became one of the defining British pop groups of the 1980s. The classic line-up featured Holly Johnson, Paul Rutherford, Brian Nash, Mark O’Toole and Peter Gill.
The sound of 1984
With producer Trevor Horn and ZTT Records, the band created bold, cinematic recordings. Their first three major hits — Relax, Two Tribes and The Power of Love — all topped the UK singles chart.
